Gasworks, a gallery and studio space in south London, invited Public Works to research and assess its local role and potential. The project started by introducing an informal meeting and studio space on the public threshold of Gasworks Gallery: the front door. For two months, the façade was used as a changing billboard to advertise activities, present new ideas, and pose questions. A catalogue of proposals to increase collaboration with other local organizations was developed, as well as solutions for the architectural redevelopment of the building.
