Anprobe Fire Station Munich explored clashing aesthetics and communication breakdown between the users and the architect of the building.
Public Works worked closely with the firefighters based at this new award-winning architect-designed fire station. Deep discussions around everyday needs exposed a gap between use and design, which was read as a hostile aesthetic by its users. Co-developed and adaptive interventions were implemented by the team itself, using in-house workshops and skills.
