Money Distribution Machine and Other Useful Contraptions

In 2014, Peckham Platform, based in south London, commissioned Kathrin to work with service users of Three Cs, a Peckham-based organization for people with learning disabilities, autism, and/or mental health challenges. “Money Distribution Machine and Other Useful Contraptions” invited audiences to explore a range of desired appliances for life that came out of conversations and workshops. The centerpiece of the exhibition was the Apparatus, a multifunctional device that produced a range of goods and services, such as coin pressing, voucher printing, plate spinning, chocolate pressing, and seed-bomb making.
