Eco Nomadic School
2012–
The Eco Nomadic School was a network of locally based projects from across six European countries, nine regions, four cities, two towns, and six villages. Through visiting each other they learned, taught, shared, and discovered the knowledge held in their respective communities. Initiated by atelier d’architecture autogerée, main organizers over the years were Myvillages, FCDL in Brezoi, Brave New Alps in northern Italy, and the University of Sheffield’s School of Architecture. The Learn to Act book documents the various classrooms and describes learning as an active process of commoning. Topics and relationships are carried forward into the Rural School of Economics.
