Culture is a Verb
Culture is a Verb was the inaugural commission of Mansions of the Future, a radical cultural program and experimental space for everyday culture in Lincoln, initiated by Clare Cumberlidge.
Mansions of the Future is a civic place that evolves over time and through usage, where everyday culture, local history, and contemporary art meet and merge.
Kathrin produced the concept and design for the public space on ground floor of the building and a structure for the first year of programming, based on the concept of public time. Kathrin’s work equipped the building for public use and discussion around local culture through action to find out, mix up, and publish what was happening culturally in Lincoln and nearby.
