The Penfold Principles
The Penfold Principles aim to act as a compass towards Interdependent Art Worlds, as a tool for the authors, collaborators and comrades.
The Penfold Principles were first drafted and edited in public during Compost at The Showroom, London, in 2021. Penfold is the name of the street where they originated.
The multi directions of the compass have been calibrated during peer-to-peer reflection and practical experimentation. In contrast to a more typical compass rose, the compass does not assume a zero point nor a neutral observer.

Community Economies (Community Economies Institute), Solidarity Economy (art.coop), idt. (The Interdependence), Lumbung (ruangrupa), ideas for a new art world (The White Pube), and Today is Our Tomorrow (PUBLICS).
