Keep it Complex – Make it Clear

Keep It Complex - Make it Clear (2016-21) was a loose collective to confront political issues through ideas and action, using art to have conversations with people you don’t usually talk to. It’s about not giving in to apathy and fear.

Keep It Complex - Make it Clear worked collaboratively to run events, curate workshops, facilitate discussions and create campaign materials.

Keep It Complex - Make it Clear is about making clear what we want, without simplifying discussion: an anti-racist, peaceful, caring, angry, anti-austerity, DIY, transnational, struggling, messy, family-friendly, queer, inclusive, non-oppressive, intergenerational, generous, diverse society.

The initiative developed out of EU-UK.info, an artist-run Remain campaign during the UK’s EU referendum in 2016.
